
Starting from the unity of the Palestinian people inside and outside the homeland, which is based on their natural and historical national rights, including their right to live in their homeland, their right to self-determination, the right of refugees to return to the homes from which they were displaced, compensation for their displacement and suffering, their right to struggle to end the colonial settlement occupation and for national independence through the establishment of an independent sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, on all the territories occupied in 1967, and the right of our people in Palestine 1948 to live with dignity and equality, ensuring their individual and national rights and opposing racial discrimination, without closing the door to a historic democratic solution, and for the reconstruction of the Palestinian national movement as a national liberation movement, and the Palestine Liberation Organization as a broad national front; seeking to achieve national goals and rights;
Starting from the firm belief that Palestine and its people, both in the homeland and in the diaspora, are an integral part of the Arab nation, which necessitates the commitment to affirming and nurturing this belonging, based on the fact that the Arab nation is the strategic depth for the Palestinian people's struggle for their national rights. In light of the broad horizons opened by the Arab revolutions, which indicate the beginning of a new phase of awakening, and considering that the Palestinian cause is a just humanitarian cause, and that the struggle of its people is based on the values of equality, social justice, democracy, and liberation from all forms of colonialism, oppression, exploitation, and discrimination, regardless of their form;
A group of thinkers and opinion leaders took the initiative and decided to establish an independent and advanced research center called "The Palestinian Center for Policy Research and Strategic Studies - Masarat." Its work is not limited to keeping up with the latest developments and updates on the political level and its economic, social, cultural, and media dimensions only, but it also strives diligently to identify the best ways to respond to them, producing rapid position papers, policy research, studies, and appropriate strategic alternatives to contribute to strengthening the struggle of the Palestinian people and their liberation aspirations in their various positions.
An independent Palestinian center specializing in policy formulation and strategic studies, focusing on developing objective and democratic alternatives by bridging the gap between knowledge and decision-making in official and civil institutions; formulating policies and providing strategic analyses and studies characterized by depth and professionalism, suitable in terms of their realism, feasibility, and timing.
The strategic and future mission of the center is to contribute to the achievement of Palestinian national rights by issuing strategic research and studies in the political field and its social, economic, cultural, and media dimensions, and through comprehensive and direct cooperation with individuals, bodies, and institutions concerned with its research areas, based on studied scientific foundations relying on the scientific method in thought, research, and development by the various units of the institution.
