The center is an independent Palestinian non-profit institution specializing in policies and distinguished strategic studies in the political field and its social, economic, and cultural dimensions. It is governed by Articles 23, 24, and 25 of the Higher Education Law No. 11 of 1998 related to scientific research centers, under which it is registered and licensed.
